KRISTI KRAMPE NAMED ICMH NURSE OF THE YEAR
Ionia County Memorial Hospital celebrated National Nurses Week, May 6-12, with a special presentation to one of their nursing staff. Kristi Krampe, RN, ICMH Home Care, received the annual Nurse of the Year award for 2009. The annual honor is given in recognition of National Nurses Week and the recipient is nominated and voted the award by their peers and supervisors. 
Kristi, a Registered Nurse at ICMH Home Care, has been a part of Ionia County Memorial Hospital over 17 years, starting as an LPN in the hospital. She then continued her education and became an RN and worked on Med/Surg floor before moving over the Home Care service of Ionia County Memorial Hospital.
Kristi stated "The best part of my job is the people. I like to see myself as an advocate for the patients.. I am happy to be part of the healthcare service profession".
Kristi lives in Belding with her husband David. She is the mother of three grown daughters and the grandmother of five, with one coming soon. Congratulations Kristi!
