IONIA COUNTY MEMORIAL HOSPITAL WELCOMES
ORTHOPEDIC SURGEON, RAYMOND ALLARD, DO
Ionia County Memorial Hospital is pleased to announce that Board Certified Orthopedic surgeon, Raymond Allard, DO, has joined the medical staff at the hospital and is accepting new patients at his office at 550 E. Washington St., Ionia.
Dr. Allard attended medical school at the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa. His internship and residency were completed at Mount Clemens General Hospital in Michigan, where he focused on both emergency medicine and orthopedics. Dr. Allard is a veteran of the Vietnam conflict. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Association and the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopaedics.
Orthopedics is the branch of medicine that deals with the prevention or correction of injuries or disorders of the skeletal system and associated muscles, joints, and ligaments. Surgical services that Dr. Allard will be providing in Ionia include: total joint replacement (hip & knee), knee arthroscopy, shoulder surgery, hand surgery, rotator cuff repair, open fracture care treatment, closed fracture care treatment, and sports medicine (shoulder, hip, knee).

Dr. Allard also will have office hours inside Suite 400 of the Carson Health Network Professional Building at 102 South Third Street in Carson City where he has been part of the surgery staff since 2003. Dr. Allard will be joining General Surgeon, Amy Jentz, MD at the Tony Balice Clinic in the Family Health Center Building, next to the hospital, at 550 East Washington Street in Ionia.
