May 4, 2009 NEW PHYSICIAN ON STAFF AT FAMILY HEALTH CENTER PORTLAND
(Ionia, Mich.) – Bill Roeser, President and CEO of Ionia County Memorial Hospital is pleased to announce the appointment of physician, Molly Craven, DO, to the office Medical Staff in Portland. “Dr. Craven will be a great asset to Ionia County, Ionia County Memorial Hospital, and the Portland community,” stated Mr. Roeser. Dr. Craven is a 2005 graduate of the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her Family Medicine residency program at Sparrow Hospital. She served at Resident Clinical Instructor at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine until she joined the Family Health Center. She earned her undergraduate in Biology and Music at Albion College.
Dr. Craven is providing healthcare services for all aspects of family care, from newborn exams to end-of-life care. She is looking forward to managing the physical and emotional aspects of the healthcare of her patients.
Molly Craven and her husband, who is an Emergency Medicine physician at Clinton Memorial Hospital in St. Johns, are expecting their first child in July.
The Family Health Center, located at 9751 E. Grand River Ave., Portland, is a service of Ionia County Memorial Hospital, a management affiliate of Sparrow. Dr. Craven is now accepting new patients. She joins Dr. Richard Kustasz and Physician Assistant, Angie Beckhold.
