ICMH FOUNDATION PRESENTS SCHOLARSHIPS TO IONIA HIGH SCHOOL GRADS

The Ionia County Memorial Hospital Foundation presented two $500 Scholarships to Ionia High School seniors to help them continue their education in the medical field. 

Ashlei Fox, a Health Occupations student at Heartlands Institute of Technology received her award May 14th at the Heartlands Institute of Technology Awards Ceremony.  Ashlei plans on attending college in the fall to purse a career in nursing.

The second scholarship went to Kasey Patrick, who was awarded her $500 scholarship at Class Night, May 30th.  Kasey, who is in the Top 10 of her graduating class, will be attending Grand Valley State University this fall.  She is taking classes to pursue a medical degree, to possibly become a Pediatrician in the future.
