ALLERGIST JOINS ICMH SPECIALTY CLINIC Ionia County Memorial Hospital is pleased to have V. Cuneyt Kalfa, MD, Board Certified in Allergy and Immunology, seeing patients at the ICMH Out-Patient Specialty Clinic at 550 E. Washington Dr. Kalfa earned his doctorate at the Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, Istanbul University, Turkey. He completed a research fellowship with the Respiratory & Neurological Medicine Research Unit in Ames, Iowa. He also completed a fellowship with the Division of Immunology, Allergy & Rheumatology at the Mattel Children’s Hospital/UCLA Department of Pediatrics in Los Angeles, California. Dr. Kalfa is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. He is currently a clinical assistant professor with the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and a consulting physician at Sparrow Hospital, Ingham Medical Center and Clinton Memorial Hospital. He specializes in asthma, food allergies, chronic cough, chronic sinus problems and hives. Dr. Kalfa will provide diagnosis and treatment of a wide spectrum of allergic and immunologic diseases, including allergic and non-allergic rhinitis, allergic conjunctivitis, asthma, chronic sinus problems, chronic cough, eczema, hives, food allergy, drug allergy, and contact allergic dermatitis as well as a variety of immune deficiency syndromes.
