General & Orthopedic Surgery
We welcome you as a patient and appreciate the opportunity to provide you with medical services. The Tony Balice Clinic is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. TBC personnel are available to answer telephone calls and make appointments from 8:00 am to closing. The Tony Balice Clinic is a designated rural health clinic, owned and operated by Sparrow Ionia Hospital.
Office visits are normally available by appointment only. Same day visits are sometimes possible, please call our office to check.
Sparrow Ionia Hospital provides care for patients of all ages. Some of the surgical services

We also provide care for patients needing pain management or undergoing procedures requiring moderate sedation. Our General Surgeons are Dr. Amy Jentz and Dr. Ronald Hyde. Our Orthopedic Surgeon is Dr. Raymond Allard.
We provide inpatient and outpatient procedures scheduled on an elective, urgent or emergency basis. Service is provided 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Referrals are accepted. Sparrow Ionia Hospital is available to provided additional services as necessary. See Hospital Services for a list of specialized diagnostic testing.
